It has always been a struggle as a ‘creative’ to be TRULEY authentic online, with a lot of time spent pushing bands and shows on the internet, looking to friends and idols on what to do. Buy this, discount code, bandcamp friday, please come to my gig, presave my album. Begging… 

I learnt about how to TRY TO make money from music at highschool, and with earlier creative projects, i implemented the commercial skills into some of the really cool work i did, which was embarrassing at the time and shameful to look back on now. never really making any money from booking shows or releasing music, almost always losing, so it wasn’t worth it a bit! spending a few years away from that and doing whatever i wanted i reckon i got an idea on what i want to do in the arts, what is important and how to connect to people that may be interested. Runamok has been used for me to find out what works, pushing my own boundaries, it’s an experiment after all.

Working with overseas music distribution to bring rare and DIY physical music to Australia is fun, radio show is great for me to explore, correlate and share music, diy shows are the best and I’ve always wanted to write. I believe this webpage being used as a hub for all of that information is wonderful idea, I will do what I want here and perhaps you may like it. Along with everything else, I am going to leave this open ended…
